It's time for holiday shopping and I wanted to share one of my favorite gifts to make--the custom coffee table book. Take your Skye Snyder Photography session photos and make your own album book, create a book of this year's travels, or your very own coffee table art book from all the beautiful landscapes you've been capturing. I like Blurb. The quality is fabulous and the interface is extremely easy to use.

Today through Monday, 11/26 create the perfect pesonalized gift and get 25% Off with Blurb when you use promo code HOLIDAYTHANKS. Blurb books are a great way to make thoughtful gifts for friends and family while letting you unleash your creativity.

Also, don't forget, with Blurb you can now create a photo book by uploading your Instagram and Facebook images. Don't miss out on these great savings and create your Blurb book today!

Crush on Autumn Wedding | Plumpjacks in Tahoe

The first snow fell as I put the finishing touches on Kim and Bryan's wedding photos. Their wedding was so rich in fall colors and textures--it made me feel like I had been cozied up next to a fire while processing the images.

The wedding mimicked the rustic elegance of Squaw Valley. Cocktail hour celebrated the natural splendor of the venue from the  rustic wood fire pizzas to yellowing aspen backdrops.  The majestic mountains were honored in the finely-crafted formal dinner.
A day of family and close friends came together to celebrate the commitment shared by Bryan and Kim. Enjoy their love story in photos...

Venue: Plumpjacks, Squaw Valley, Tahoe, California

Crush on I Heart Faces | Orange Challenge

I Heart Faces is hosting an Orange challenge this month. Having just finished photographing this high school senior/cowboy's photos, I knew it was the one to enter. The crisp autumnal colors and the tip of his hat made for one of my favorite senior session images.  The orange Larro sign on the preserved historical building was key for his senior photos and perfect for the challenge.
