Crush on Winter Wonderlands

This week's photo challenge over at i heart faces is "Winter Wonderland". I chose this photo of our Ruby in the front yard. There was so much snowfall that all the very close houses and cars have been hidden in whiteness.  The tree is blossoming. The day before this snowfall, we were wearing t-shirts, basking like lizards on the driveway and trying to make our own tie-dye creations. Very typical weather shift when you live at the base of the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains.

    This is such a great shot! I, too, love the angle and how all that can be seen in the background are the gorgeous trees and a sea of white. Excellent job!

    Some of the FYI:
    I shoot Nikon and for this photo I used the Nikkor 10.5 f/ 2.8 fisheye--one of my favorite lens. The color was pretty and extremely bright so I thought I'd try one of the new actions that I am testing for Wish Photography. The one I used here was Joyfolie.
