Crush on the Lazy Days of August

The dog days of summer are upon us. The deep heat and two months of adventures have us moving in slow motion. We don't walk. We stroll. We don't go to bed. We fall into a slumber. We don't wake up. We rouse from our dreams by the tap of a sunbeam. Today's photographs are from our adventures and walks to and from the pool, with our friends, with our wish that summer was endless...

    Crush on August? I have a Crush on Skye Syder Photography! These photos are the gift of a lifetime. I am forever running around like a crazy person; always trying to get to the destination and too frazzled to enjoy the journey. These photos have made me stop and look at who my boys are today. You captured a million stories in their eyes and I am certain that every time I look back at your art I will remember exactly who my boys were the summer they were 7 and 8. As a mom who is desperate to feel and remember every last moment, there is no greater gift.
