QUESTION: In the photograph below, there are many photography techniques at work. What type of LENS was used AND look at the little girl on the left. The one pointing at you. What photography TERM explains the blurriness in her pointer finger?

  1. It's a fish eye lens and the term is focal length. And these two crack me up. Love this pic.

  2. I concur with the fish eye-ness, but shouldn't the blurriness be attributed to depth of field?

  3. Congratulations to Alyssa for the correct answer of fish eye and depth of field. Depth of field refers to the part of an image that is acceptably sharp and in focus. The depth here is relatively small since the tip of the finger is out of focus but the hand is "acceptably sharp".
Congratulations to Elizabeth for entering and having her name drawn in the contest.
Each have won $10 SKOSH BUCK$ to apply toward a Skye Snyder Photography Session or prints.
    Thanks for participating.
